Obituary of Merle E. McInnis

Dexter- Merle E. McInnis, 86, passed away peacefully May 20, 2016, at his home in Dexter. He was born December 25, 1929, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Herbert and Marjorie (Moore) McInnis. Merle worked for many years as a boiler operator. He enjoyed watching golf, camping, his trucks, and spending time with his family and pets. Merle is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Charlene (Lyford) McInnis; daughter, Stacie (McInnis) Roberts; step-daughter, Lorrie (Webb) Edgerly; grandchildren, Jennifer (Duplisea) Gould, Brian Duplisea, Emilee Hartley, and Isaeya Roberts; and great-grandchildren, Brayden Flagg, and his “little guy”, Ayden Merle, who will carry on his “Bumpa’s” name. He will be missed by his doggie, Sadie. Merle chose not to have services, so please remember how he brought love and laughs to many.
