Karen and family,
Although I did not have any direct connection over the years with your Dad, I realized just by his professional manner and overall demeanor that he was to be respected. He must have been very proud of the three of you over the past few years! I also want to express my sympathy to the other family members at this time as well.
With Love,
Martha

Stacy and I will forever miss Gene. Ten years ago, Gene helped us feel very welcomed to the community that he dearly loved. As a Trustee, I immediately understood why he was respected and treated like E.F. Hutton because when he spoke, people would listen. He was kind, positive, forward-thinking and was an advocate for the students of Foxcroft Academy. Stacy and I very much enjoyed our visits with Gene and Winnie in Englewood and Sebec Lake. We are very grateful for the opportunity to call Gene a dear friend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Gene’s family and friends.

Karen, Linda and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Gene and all the famous, or, "infamous" Kiwanis times with Gene and Hap. They were numerous over the years!

I will remember Gene as a man to whom it mattered that things were done right.
Whether he was selling a car, working in some way for the Town of Dover-Foxcroft,helping Kiwanis or Foxcroft Academy, he did things the "right"way and expected no less of others. I was involved with him in many of these affairs over the years and always valued his participation in so many areas. He will be missed!
