Our thoughts are with the family. Madeline was known for her many, many kind traits, her big smile, her laughter, her stories and advice. She is going to be missed by many. Time seems to go by so fast. Many times way to fast. There will be a huge void in our hearts and lives. You will be greatly missed dear cousin. She will look down upon the family members guiding them from above.

So very sorry to hear of Madeline's passing. As you know, I spent a great deal of my youth hanging out at your original home. I think I was ten when you bought that rambling old house. I was always so excited when you would all arrive in town.
Madeline is a part of my memories for practically my whole life. I will miss her. I am thinking of you all and you are in my prayers.
Much love,

To all of Madeline's Family,
Growing up in a small town, and friend to her granddaughter, I have so many fond memories of Madeline. As children we played dress up in her old gowns, rode snowmobiles around her yard in the winter, swam at her camp in the summer, did sleep overs in the camper whenever we could get away with it. She will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her. So thankful that she lived such a full and adventurous life, full of travel and experiences with the love of her life. I can only hope to achieve half of that in my lifetime.
May you all find peace in your many, many memories.
Sending love to all of the Acker family.
Love, Samantha Smith Greenlaw and family

So sad to hear of Aunt Madeline's passing. So many great memories of our trips to the US when we were kids to visit. I always enjoyed seeing them when they came to NS. Thinking of all the family - write down your memories - they tend to fade so quickly!

Remembering a crafty lady with lots of interests. Our last conversation was about cooking. She was always smiling and active. Thanks to Madeline for sharing remedies for aches and pains with me. She will be missed for her wisdom and lively manor. Hugs to her family and friends!

Our sincere sympathy to Aubrey and family. We have many wonderful memories of visits here in Nova Scotia, in Florida and in Texas with Aubrey and Madeline. Holmes and Jan have shared over the years many stories of their travels together and treasured friendship. Madeline was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by friends and family. Sorry we are not able to travel to Maine to pay our respects on Saturday. Love from Robert and Kathryn and family.
