Greenville- William Fling, 66, passed away June 7, 2016, at Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital, Greenville. He was born August 13, 1949, in Lawrence, MA, the son of George and Rita Fling. Although he was taken too soon, his life was whole. Bill loved serving his community, which is evident in the pride he took maintaining the local cemetery. He enjoyed coaching softball, hunting and fishing, and his businesses. He worked for 37 years as an English teacher in Massachusetts, Bingham, and Greenville. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Laurie (Gaudet) Fling of Greenville; his daughter, Lauren Haugstad and her husband, Ivan, of Alaska; and many close friends. Friends and family are invited to gather 2-4 Sunday, June 12, 2016, at the home of Debbie and Neil Jones, 793 Moosehead Lake Road, Greenville.
