I was so fortunate to meet one of my mom Berta Washburn Fitzgerald’s dear childhood friends when staying with her in 2006 and enjoyed chatting with Cliff and Phyllis during a few subsequent visits. The twinkle in his eyes, his smile, and laugh were infectious. He will be missed by all who knew him, but memories of him will forever bring smiles.
