Brownville Jct. – Brenda A. Ackley, 70, wife of Andrew J. Ackley, passed away June 30, 2020, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. She was born August 16, 1949, in Island Falls, the daughter of Alfred J. and Edna A. (Chute) Moraisey. Brenda had worked at Guilford Industries as a spinner for many years. She was predeceased by her first husband, Winfield H. Rogers, and a son Winfield H. Rogers, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Andrew, of Brownville Jct; a son, Leslie J. Rogers and his wife, Liza, of Brownville; two daughters, Mahala Campbell of North Carolina, and Rose Leland and her husband, Scott, of Sangerville; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Rogers, of Guilford; 10 grandchildren, Kyle Rogers, Devin Rogers, Chelsea Bresette, Brittany Bressette, Jackie Bressette, Tatianna Rogers, Trey Rogers, Tawnya Shelley, Melissa Woodard, and Jennifer Gamblin; and two great-grandchildren, Colby M. and Aria-Rose. She also leaves two step-daughters, Ruby Woodard and her husband, Marlon, and Jean Bailey and her husband, Arthur. The family would like to thank the team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center for their compassionate care for Brenda while she was there. Visiting hours and a funeral service will be by family invitation and will be held at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo.
