LaGrange – Manuel Scott LaPointe, 58, passed away July 30, 2020, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born March 27, 1962, in Dexter, the son of Alton J. Lapointe, Sr. and Villette (Morton) Chapman. Scott had most recently worked as a carpenter. He loved fishing and hunting. Scott is survived by his mother, Villette “Vicki” Chapman; a son, Josh; a grandson, Alec; three sisters, Debra Smart, Linda Washburn, and Robin Burns; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his dog, Dozer. Scott was predeceased by a son, Richard, and a brother, Jim. Private services will be held for family and friends.
