Guilford - Theodore “Ted” T. Galuski, Jr., 67, passed away on September 17, 2020, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 1, 1953, to Theodore T. Galuski, Sr. in Taunton, Massachusetts. Ted grew up in Taunton, where he enjoyed playing fast pitch softball and bowling in leagues for candlepin and duckpin. When he was 16, Ted met the love of his life and wife of 42 years, Marjorie, at Henry’s Root Beer stand, they were married 8 years later on July 9, 1978, in Las Vegas, NV. In 1989, he and his wife moved to Maine to raise their six girls in an area that was considered safe and relatively free of crime. Despite moving away from Massachusetts, Ted loved visiting Cape Cod and walking the canal with his wife. When Ted wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time at Harlow Pond and taking his beloved black lab, Sadie, swimming. He also loved being a grandfather and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; his six daughters, Vanessa McInnis, Meagan Rankin and her husband, Jeff, Ivy Todd and her husband, Timothy, Aislynn Galuski and her husband, Readell, Tedianne Thurlow and her husband, Robert, and Abbie Connolly and her husband, Andrew. He leaves his 10 grandchildren, Benjamin, Thomas, Kolbin, Parker, Gabriella, Daxton, Remington, Hunter, Elliot and Maggie; his sister, Ann Marie Brodeur and her husband, Jeff; his aunt, Johanna Jardin; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his father. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
