My father Leo Acker and Aubrey were cousins. I remember going to visit Aubrey and his wife when I was in my 20's in Sebec Lake. He offered me a chance to move there from Canada and work for him. I didn't take him up on it, but he sure was a nice man. And he sure loved his cars.
Rest in peace Aubrey, sorry I didn't see this until August 2024.

I’ve been working on remodeling a room in my house, and it seems every time I do that I think of Aubrey (and Madeline). Working for them (mostly with Aubrey) for a summer or so, I learned so much about hard work, and building and so much more. Both of my grandfathers died while I was still quite young, and over the years I came to think of Aubrey as a grandfather of sorts. He had quite the laugh! And he showed me a lot of crazy things that got the job done. Thanks for everything, Aubrey. Rest In Peace.

Aubrey and Madeline stayed in their Phoenix Cruiser in our yard in Skinners Pond.
It was in the evening after we shared dinner together and said good night.
I was sitting in the house looking out the window and watched them thru their window sitting at the table playing cribbage.
I see them as if I’m looking thru that window right now.
It was like looking into my future and I Thanked God for this Blessing.
LOVE, they had it!
We are Blessed, We Have It too!
I went to her grave last time we were in Sebec.
I was feeling the sorrow of her passing till I saw she had a child that had passed. Knowing she was loving that child in Heaven brought me peace.
Now momma and daddy are in heaven Loving their Baby.
Again it brings me peace.
I’m missing my friends.

I went to call Aubrey to say Howdy because I’m wrapping presents and this card was in with the wrapping paper.
Figured it was Madeleine saying call Aubrey.
Instead of getting his phone number off of google I got his Obituary. My heart is broken.
Then the memories flooded in. OMG we had some Fun on the Road Together in Nova Scotia! Laugh till we cried.
Aubrey & Madeleine came to our home in Skinners Pond PEI
I’ll never forget them telling us when they woke up the first morning. Madeleine said to Aubrey; Aubrey look at those waves on the water! Aubrey replied, Madeleine that’s not waves those are Lobster Boats.
Madeleine said to me,”Girl, you hit the jackpot on this property. She was right. It’s a dream come true being here. I’m so sorry to have lost both our friends. But I’m truly Blessed to have had them in my Life. God is So Good. It puts a smile on my face seeing them two in Heaven dancing on a cloud.
RIP My Friends

I only met Aubrey and Madeline 7 years ago at their Anniversary. It was one of the best days of my life. Both Maddie and Aubrey welcomes me with open arms. They will forever be in my heart. I loved them like my own Aunt and Uncle. Aladdin Villas will never be the same. Love you forever Carole.
