Milo – Wilfred K. Burke, 89, husband of Athalie L. (Buck) Burke, passed away July 14, 2016, at Hibbard Nursing Home, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born October 15, 1926, in Bangor, the son of John and Dorothy (Martin) Burke. He was a member of Piscataquis Masonic Lodge No. 44 in Milo. Wilfred was an avid outdoorsman, and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on his wood pile. He was also always happy to be on Sebec River. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 69 years, Athalie; a son, Glenn Burke and his wife, Diane, of Arizona; and a daughter, Susan Burke of Milo. A graveside Masonic memorial service will be conducted 1pm Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
