Dover-Foxcroft – Jeffrey A. Pennington, 63, passed away March 8, 2021, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital. Jeff was born October 6, 1957, the son of Herbert and Merelyn (Skillin) Pennington. Jeff graduated from Foxcroft Academy, Class of 1976, and worked at a number of different jobs until experiencing a heart attack. After the death of his father, he returned to his life-long home and took care of his mother until her death in 2017. Jeff is survived by numerous first and second cousins, Suzanne Humphries, Chris Roy, and Jarod Roy, all of Dover-Foxcroft; Jazmine Roy of Vassalboro; Michelle, Greg, Emma, and Eliza Zande, all of New Jersey; Ryan, Amanda, Jude, and Simon Roy, all of Florida; Liz and John Zande of Delaware; Donna Hultburg, of North Carolina; Charmaine Ellis and Ensign Ellis of Maine; Janice McKusick Brawn of Florida; and an aunt, Marlene (Pennington) Stitch and husband, Bernard of Illinois. Jeff was predeceased by his parents. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Rural Grove Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
