Please share a memory of Sandra to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Guilford – Sandra A. ((Peachey) Melia, 79, passed away March 11, 2021, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. She was born in Greenville in 1941. Sandra was an active member of New Life Baptist Church of Dover-Foxcroft and was quick to share her love for the Lord through her dedication to serving those in need. She could often be found at church, volunteering at the food pantry, and delivering food to the homebound. She was an avid card player and spent many nights playing Phase 10 and Skip-Bo with family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Idona; an infant brother, Robert; a brother, Merle; and a grandson, Jacob. She is survived by her son, Robert; grandsons, Jared and Timothy; brothers, Kenneth and John (Cecile); sisters, Arlene Marie (Ted) and Linda; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to list but not forgotten. The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to the medical staff at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center for their compassionate care. We also thank Brother Craig Cobb and his wife, Stacie, for their love and support of Sandra and our family during this difficult time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. A burial in the Greenville Cemetery will take place in the spring. Those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so by sending a check to New Life Baptist Church, 2385 Dexter Road, Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
