Dear Hunt Family, Laurie's siblings, and everyone else who knew Laurie,
This is one of Laurie's many cousins on the Doble side--Peter Klein (Martha Doble Klein's son). I was sad to hear that Laurie was ill and recently passed away. It has been a long time since we visited with her and the other cousins at Schoodic Lake or in Milo, but I remember Laurie well and will miss her. My wife and I especially remember her amazing zucchini bread, which she shared the last time we were at Schoodic lake (so long ago). We will miss her.

Dear Gary and family,
Laurie loved life and her family and did her best to be with you as long as she could with such strength, grace and determination. I think the word "stubborn" was used at times in our conversations with Laurie and family. She always had a smile and welcomed you into your home. She will be missed

My heartfelt condolences to the Hunt family. I have many fond memories of Laurie, from picking Nick and I up from late night basketball games or soccer practices to making some of the best hot wings I’ve ever had. She had a great sense of humor and always came across as a ‘cool mom’ to me. It had been years since I had seen or talked to Laurie but as I understood the fight was ever waging. I am sad to hear of her passing but find comfort that she can rest now. -Josh Goupille
