I was so disheartened to read this obituary. Freda and my mom Louise were friends. When ever they got together all they did was laugh :). My prayers to her children and sweet husband Everett. They use to pop into our store in Jackman to say hello. Miss those sweet surprises. Pumpkin aka Lorraine Levesque.

Oh no! So, so sorry to hear of Freda's passing. She was awsome and we just love her and being her neighbor for almost 30 years and I knew her probable 15 years before that. She was always smiling and laughing and telling her stories. There are so many memories of her and the things she did in the town, so many stories to re-tell through the ages. She was a bit crazy and told it like it was and that was what I loved about her. We will miss seeing her sitting on the porch waving and talking to passers by. To all of the Cook family, we are so sorry for your loss. You are all in our thoughts.
Sincerely,
Melissa (Dean) & Rick Gallagher and family.

Dear Everett and family, we were so sorry to hear of the loss of our dear friend Freda. She will be missed by so many! We spent many a Christmas Eve morning at breakfast with her and Everett at the B&B. Many memories of her wonderful meals! Then there were her chicken pies!! “Just come get one out of the freezer whenever you need it!” She sure was a rig! And we loved her so much. With much love to you all, Kathy and Carroll

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Freda. She was certainly a "quick wit", a co-worker a, at Mayo hospital, a very good neighbor and friend to my Mother Gloria Lutterell, and so much more. She and Everett were very generous to the folks in Milo. May she rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Martha Lutterell Kurzius
