Winnie. I am so sorry to hear that Karen has passed away. My memories of her bring me back to many yrs ago as neighbors in our early childhood. I few houses apart and very young. I loved coming to your home and remember you always seemed to have chocolate ice cream. Karen's uncle Bud even bought us matching sweaters one year. Karen was always very strong willed and could do anything she wanted. We lost contact after school but she always someone I looked up to cause nobody was going to stop her from doing what she wanted. She was her own person. RIP Karen

Winnie, Derek, Allison & Families. So sorry for your loss. I remember the first time I met Karen. She was across the street at her Aunt Kay Libby's house and Kay invited me over to meet her. We sat and chatted over a plate of Rice Krispy Squares. We were in grade school at that time and became friends ever since. We were in the same class, also. Karen was very smart and could do anything she set her mind on. Over the years we would see each other in the store or around town and would catch up. She was fun to talk with. May all your memories of Karen keep you smiling!! Rachel Kimball

Heartfelt condolences to Karen’s family. I know y’all will miss her. Karen and I went to school together, Class of 1971. Several of us hung together and had some pretty wild times. Memories I will always remember. RIP dear friend. See you on the other side.
