I am sorry for the passing of Charlie. Charlie has left me with many fond memories and stories he shared around the dinner table. Loved Charlie's smile, laugh and demeanor. What a great man. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

Vera, I was saddened to read of Charlie's passing. Although I haven't seen him for quite some time, I have fond memories of the many times I interacted with him at the DA's Office when he was a game warden. He was one of the kindest men I have ever met. I was always so impressed with his professionalism and considered him a friend. I hope your many happy memories help to sustain you during this difficult time. He will be missed.

Vera and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Charlie was a good man and the world was a better place for his presence. When he entered a room, one couldn't help but smile, his was so infectious. The good Lord obviously had a need for Charlie so he called him home.

I was very sorry to read about Charlie's passing. Both Roger and I always enjoyed bumping into him around town and catching up. He was such a gentle man, cut of the great old cloth. I'll miss seeing him around Moosehead.

David, Beth, Dawna, Andy, grandchildren and friends,
I saw his picture and it immediately brought a smile. When I saw Charlie he was always smiling. He was a joy to be around and a pleasure to listen to. He had so many stories. Seeing his picture floaded my mind with wonderful memories. We are so blessed to have met and spent time with the Davis family in years past. Charlie was a man of God and I count it such a privilege to have known him. My heart is sad but peaceful as Charlie is now with his Lord and Saviour Jesus, where all christians know they will be when their time on earth has ended. We will then be in our forever home. David, Beth, Dawna and Andy, your Dad left such a mark on people and was such a witness for the Lord. What a blessing to have had a father like Charlie. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Andy and Shannon - We are so sorry. In a conversation that we had with him at your wedding, it was so clear how proud of a father he was to have you as a son, Andy. And I could see the joy in his heart, knowing that his son had found such a lovely young lady to marry and be his daughter-in-law. Be at peace knowing that he is no longer in any pain - and I am sure he knew what he was doing, and did not want his family to see him suffer.
Cole, Hope and Troy - All the stories that I have heard about your Grampy and the 3 of you surely show that he loved each of you very much and that is forever.
It is through our faith that we believe that we will all be together again someday. Always remember that and nobody can ever take away the memories you hold near and dear to your heart.
