My Condolences to Terry's family. Went to Winslow high school and graduated together in 1960.
We went hunting together a few times in Maine while we were younger. Also went to Mt. Katahdin with Terry and went camping and fishing. I will always remember that experience of him and I having to carry his canoe on the trail to get to the lake and my first-time fly fishing. Terry also cooked some moose meat that he had brought from his home freezer, (the moose he had shot /killed with his bow and arrow). He was a great hunter. I will never forget the good times in the woods of Maine. RIP good friend.

Terry was a younger brother to me. I enjoyed all his hunting stories. We had a good time together. I miss him very much. He taught me a lot about the outdoors. I will always miss his presence in my life.

Terry appreciated and loved my baking and I loved to bake for him. Eric and I could listen to Terry talk about the old MaineDOT and hunting for hours. Terry was a very, very special person and we will miss him.

Terry cared about family. Quite a few years back, he and Berta planned a family reunion. They gathered pictures and graphed ancestry/family trees. They rented a place in Waterville. Sharon and I attended along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandchildren.
There were close to 100 people that attended. What a reunion! Some relatives had not seen each other in years. A wonderful presentation of pictures from all sides of the family were enjoyed.
Many of the relatives that were there have now passed away, but I know Terry succeeded in making wonderful memories for those who are left. What a tribute he made for everyone.

From MajBritt Hapworth, wife of late cousin Robert “Bobbie” Hapworth and from all of the California Cousins with love. What we remember are the beautiful Christmas wreaths sent every year to help us remember Maine, then the beautiful family reunion where you opened your home for Hap and the children to meet where they tried Moxie for the first time while watching football movies and climbed the same hills as the cousins before them, you brought the family together with the shared history and beautiful photos and all of your hard work tracing lineages. We are grateful for all of the memories and loved when Terry visited our family home on the “Hill”.

Terry and I were teamed up for our construction knowledge, to help and guide Bruce Hilson on his first in charge of job on SB I-95 out of Houlton, sometimes in the early 70s. An avid hunter/fisherman with many outing history stories. We competed fishing! I cannot list all the adjectives to describe his reactions on the day when I beat him with 5 big brown trouts coming out of Moose Brook. I never told him that they came from my guiding the backhoe operator to create a pool as part of diverting the brook to build the bridge. The fish were scooped up by the backhoe for me! I can still see the expresion on his face and his jumping all around for what I think was to overcome the surprise and for being out done that day!! and days!!
As for work, it was very nice to work with him because of his accumiliated experience. MDOT got its moneys worth from him. Sad to see again, another younger one departing but the MAN upstairs will most likely assign him some roadwork if there are roads up there. Till we meet again Terry........Ron Beaulieu

A tribute to my brother, Terry:
Terry marched to his own drumbeat. That is what made him so unique. He cared for people and was our Mother and Father’s caretaker for years. His love of our parents was never ending.
Terry loved and respected nature. He taught me (on our long walks in the fields and woods behind our grandparents home) names of trees, flowers, birds and animals. We spent hours on rides to look for deer and other wildlife. He was an avid hunter and shared his experiences in his writings and photography.
He always joked with my boyfriend (husband) Dave about: “When you are are hunting and waiting for deer to come out, you don’t wear white socks and crunching on apples” which is what Dave did. We had many memories and adventures together.
When my family visited from Louisville Terry would show films and pictures of his hunting trips and take us fishing with Mom and Dad. There were always stories and sharing his love and knowledge of the outdoors.
He was always there for me as he was for many of our relatives and friends.
Terry was a great brother and will sadly be missed.
