Nancy was my cousin , but more importantly , she was my best friend and a huge part of my life for most of my life . We talked, laughed and sometimes cried, every day when we talked on the phone . She was a huge support to me and I tried to be the same for her . Our last in person visit was years ago , but we talked so much that it felt like we were with each other daily . . We didn’t get to take the trip that we planned for this spring , but in my heart , I am with her every day . I miss her so much and made sure that she knew how much she meant to me and how much I loved her every day before she passed . She was definitely one of a kind , so hardworking , dedicated , loving and always caring .

I have fond memories of cousin Nancy especially during Newburyport holiday gatherings. Also remember our two families camping in Acadia. Carefree days. I can see her in my minds eye like it was yesterday. As the only girl in my family I marveled at Nancy (and Susan) like sisters and hung on their every word. It was an idyllic time that I cherish.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Nancy’s passing. We hope you
can find some comfort in remembering the happier, carefree days of
her youth when our Chase families used to gather at Lime street to
celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and birthdays around the dining-
room table. We will keep Nancy in our thoughts and prayers, and
rejoice in knowing that she is at peace in the arms of her Mom and
Dad, and her dear son, Christopher.

I'm so sorry to read about the passing of Nancy. We worked together, in the 1980s, at the answering service in Concord, and lost touch for many years. About 11 or 12 years ago, when she was in California, she reached out to me after reading my stories on Patch and we were in touch via email, here and there, since that time. I hadn't spoken to her in about two years and wondered how she was doing and then saw her obituary. God bless her family.
