Lorraine was a very gracious lady. When my mother in law passed away she started to invite my father in law and my wife and me to her holiday dinners. There is a commercial that plays around here where they say they will treat you like family or maybe better. That is the way we were treated like family. Maybe even better.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Lorraine lived across from Mom at the apartments in Guilford then downstairs underneath her. I also waited on her at Traftons Family Affair, where we all enjoyed her coming in the mornings, with Bev Bridge.

Lorraine was one of the very first "seniors" to come to Community Fitness's offical Enhanced Fitness classes back in 2004. She hardly ever missed a class while she was healthy enough to attend. I remember her as always smiling throughout class. She marched in the 1st River Festival Parade with a whole crew from the Center and spent all day at the Festival helping with the booth. Her presence at the Center was so appreciated and she was sadly missed when she was no longer well enough to come play. I had many conversations with her over the years and always enjoyed her company and her great sense of humor. My condolences to her family whom she dearly loved and spoke of often. Her grandchildren, and greats, were her pride and joy.
