Pauline was the "neighborhood Mom." She loved all of us kids, and she seemed to have an endless fountain of energy and good humor, no matter how much we all got under foot sometimes, with six of her own and all their friends. Much of what I know about being a good Mom I learned from Pauline. I always think of her when I hang laundry outside, snap green beans or pick blueberries -- which she used to turn into wonderful treats to reward our "labor" after she likely picked most of them herself. I always loved her laugh, and tried to surprise one out of her any time that I could. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out, and I will miss her. Sending much love to my "neighborhood sibs."
